Welcome! If you are a student studying in any field related to advertising, marketing or communications, AAF Pensacola is a powerful resource with outstanding programs to help you launch a successful career in the industry.

College students are invited to join AAF Pensacola at the reduced membership rate of just $25 per year. When you become a student member of AAF Pensacola, you’ll have the opportunity to network with, learn from and work side-by-side with the leading professionals in the area.

Why Be A Student Member?

In addition to welcoming student members, AAF Pensacola works closely with area colleges and universities to assist with portfolio seminars and reviews, a student advertising awards competition to recognize young talent and a student mentor program to link students with professionals in their area of interests.

AAF Pensacola also encourages students to get involved in our organization by serving on committees such as the Media Auction, Programs, Public Service and the ADDY Awards.

Student ADDYs

The AAF Student ADDY® Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specifically for college students. Work entered at your local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.

All work submitted in the Student ADDY® Competition is subject to the same rules and guidelines and submission requirements as the Professional ADDY® Competition. Please Note:  Comps, original photographs, illustrations, etc. all become the property of AAF Pensacola and will not be returned.

  • Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution.
  • Work may be developed specifically for this competition or submitted from previous projects. Work developed for paying clients will not be accepted with the exception of work submitted for student publications.
  • Work must be created while entrant is a student not employed in the advertising business. Student interns are eligible to enter.
